Significant moments in the genres history will also show how science fiction film, like any other media text, is rooted in contemporary anxieties and issues. The interactive morning session will be supported by clips and materials for the classroom from a wide range of films and followed by an afternoon screening of The Incredible Shrinking Man Cert: PG.
Led by writer, teacher, script editor and story consultant Ian Long. Ian teaches genre workshops for Euroscript. Teacher resource notes will be supplied on the day.
