Following its very successful 18th Festival in 2008, The Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film and Television Festival for Young People - the largest film festival for young people in the UK and Ireland, returns to Belfast in November, with an action packed programme of fascinating events. From November 18th - December 4th 2009, film and TV enthusiasts will have a wealth of screenings, masterclasses with film and television industry guests, workshops for schools, a young film jury and Q&A’s to chose from.  All of these aim to inspire, entertain, motivate and create opportunities for young people aged from 4 to 25

Young people aged 16-25 who are interested in finding out more about working in the media industry can do just that as the much anticipated ‘Talent Lab’ event returns to the festival. Promising to be a fantastic mix of creativity, fun and learning, the ‘Talent Lab’ masterclasses will run on 3rd and 4th December. Masterclasses include Scriptwriting, Acting, and Production.

Other highlights include ‘Cinemagic Stars’, a 3 day acting extravaganza that develops the acting skills of 12-16 year olds, the Cinemagic Young Filmmaker Competition and the much loved series of classic family and children’s films.

The festival programme launches on 24th September 2009.
