Jury
Cinemagic Jury

A Festival Jury, composed of young people from 10 to 18 years of age is a key feature in Cinemagic's annual Festival programme. Cinemagic is one of the few festivals where winners are selected by juries made up solely of young people.
The juries watch all of the films that are in competition, analyse the content against a set of key indicators and decide on a corresponding mark for each film. These figures are then totalled to determine the winning entry in Best Feature and Best Short for a Teenage and Children's audience.
If you enjoy watching films, would like to share your view about them with others and want to be a film critic, then being on the Cinemagic jury panel is the job for you! Jury members must be available over several evenings and weekends throughout the festival period (16th Nov- 2nd Dec 2011) and at the closing night of the festival to announce the winning films! There are also lots of opportunities for jury members to participate in special events including Q&A's with film and television industry professionals.
