30th Anniversary screening Back to The Future & Q&A with Alan Silvestri

Alan Silvestri, regarded as one of Hollywood’s best composers, will participate in a Cinemagic Festival Q&A before a special 30th Anniversary Screening of Back to The Future on 27th October!

Alan Silvestri has written the music for some of the world’s biggest blockbusters, Forrest Gump (Academy Award Nominee for Best Music Score), Captain America, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Avengers Assemble!

Cinemagic is delighted to welcome this multi-award winning composer to the festival for his first ever trip to Ireland. Alan will be taking part in an industry Q&A with presenter and producer Tim Burden where he will will talk about his amazing career in film, especially his work on Back to the Future when he created one of cinema's most iconic and enduring themes.

The screening and Q&A will take place at Odyssey Cinemas Belfast from 7.00pm-10.00pm on Tuesday 27th October.

Back to the Future - After Marty is whisked back to the ‘50s by the DeLorean, which doubles as a time machine, he comes face to face with his nerdy teenage dad George and also his flirtatious mum Lorraine with whom George has yet to take on a date! But driven by an attraction she cannot understand, Lorraine decides that this new Marty kid is an absolute dreamboat, so to protect his own future existence, Marty must deflect Lorraine's adoration to poor old George.
