Cinemagic has launched a call-out for scripts for the Cinemagic Dublin Film Academy. The Academy will produce a short film made by young people from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland under the guidance of industry professionals from 9th-13th May 2016. Budding filmmakers, aged 18-25, will have the chance to develop their talents and earn their credit on the local production.

Cinemagic is looking for scripts of about 5-10 minutes in length with a maximum of 3 characters and location changes. The film will be shot in Dublin city centre and its surrounding areas over 3 days and it will be screened to a family audience during the Cinemagic Dublin Festival in May 2016.

We are accepting scripts from young people aged 25 and under from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Please include a cover letter with your submission, telling us a little bit about yourself and please include your contact details.
