Cinemagic Autumn Education Programme Launch

2017 CINEMAGIC FESTIVAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME LAUNCH AND TEACHER'S ADVISORY PANEL (TAP) OPEN INFORMATION SESSION.

Staff From Cinemagic, QFT Learning, Nerve Belfast, Northern Ireland Screen Education, Into Film, CCEA and Film Studies & Broadcast Production at Queen’s will be on hand to talk about upcoming education programmes for the school year.
 
This information event with filmmaking taster sessions is aimed at primary, post primary and third level teachers and educators, from all areas of study, particularly Moving Image Arts, Media Studies and Languages.

Teachers can meet film education practitioners, and receive information on Cinemagic’s education programmes specifically designed for schools. This open information event includes a free QFT film screening and refreshments.

A full schedule of the session will be provided at the end of August.

The Belfast Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People takes place from 6th-29th October 2017. The festival showcases the best of world cinema, presents the highly acclaimed film education programme, the talent lab and creativity corner masterclasses with creative industry professionals, fun-filled family film events, Cinemagic Young Filmmaker Competition and the annual 'CineSeekers' and 'CineFocus' film juries which offer participants a chance to become movie reviewers and choose the winning films of the festival!
