Young Film Critics Wanted for Dublin Jury this May!

Posted on 14th April 2015 | Cinemagic News

Do you enjoy watching films? Would you like to see new films from around the world? Ever thought of being a film critic? If so, this year’s Cinemagic Dublin ‘CineSeekers’ and ‘CineFocus’ film jury is for you! Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People is recruiting jury panels  from all over Ireland to watch and judge a series of  films from around the world during the May Cinemagic Dublin 2015 Festival programme.

The jury will meet in Cineworld Cinemas Parnell Street and Filmbase Temple Bar where they will enjoy a feast of film, learn how to review and critique, and choose the winning films of the weekend.

Cinemagic film jury members will have the opportunity to meet other young film fans, learn about the role of the film critic, and play an important role in Cinemagic Dublin’s 8th Festival for Young People.

Chris Shaw, Cinemagic Festival Programmer said “The young film critics jury offers young people the chance to meet others with a similar passion for film, to discuss and debate, and to make new friends, whilst expanding their understanding of the different genres of film.”
