Cinemagic Young Film Consultants:

Every year a team of Cinemagic Young Film Consultants is recruited to watch and review films for the festival and help design the programme, as well as participate in press, and promotion of the festival in the lead up to its opening. Film enthusiasts aged 10-18 can apply directly to Cinemagic telling us about your favourite film and why, and explaining why you would like to become a young consultant in 2008 and what ideas you can contribute.

Cinemagic Young Jury:

Every September a young jury panel made up of 10- 18 year olds is selected from applications all over Northern Ireland. Young people who want to watch and review all the competition films during the festival can come along and critique a variety of films from around the world and select the winning films in categories such as Best Short and Best Feature Film for a teenage and childrens audience. Jury members can take part in all the workshops on offer also and have the opportunity to introduce the winning films on the closing night of the festival!
