* NEW FOR 2012!

Giants of Northern Ireland YFM Section (International Competition / Open to All): As part of the activities to mark the Northern Ireland Tourist Boards 2012 ‘Our Time, Our Place’ celebrations Cinemagic will be programming a unique and challenging international film event for Young People. We want creative individuals to submit short films around the theme ‘Giants of Northern Ireland’! The genre of the short films can take any form – fact or fiction, comedy or drama, news programme or documentary.

The competition section is designed to celebrate the deep historical impact & the contemporary innovations that Northern Ireland and its people have contributed to the world. We want to know how we see ourselves & our achievements (local young filmmakers) as well as how those living outside Northern Ireland view us (international young filmmakers).
